Help Us Bring Carolyn Jones to the 2019 PONL Nursing Leadership Conference

Help PONL win a keynote address from acclaimed filmmaker Carolyn Jones for next year's annual conference! In honor of Nurses Week May 6-12, Walden University is holding a contest that could bring Carolyn and her talk, "A Celebration of Nursing," to the group.

Carolyn will share her quest to elevate the voices of nurses in our country through her films The American Nurse and Defining Hope. Her remarkable stories will leave you and your colleagues with a renewed love of nursing as we celebrate the integral role of nurses in our communities.

Nominate PONL to receive this honor! The more individuals we can have to submit on behalf of PONL, the higher our chances are of securing this prestigious honor. Although the form indicates for you to nominate your institution, you can specify PONL instead.

To nominate PONL:

1. Visit WaldenU.edu/NursesWin.

2. On the form, fill out your first and last name. Under employer, put "Pennsylvania Organization of Nurse Leaders (PONL)." The organization's name must be spelled out completely - feel free to copy and paste this into the specified field. Do NOT put your actual employer's name in this box. This is the field that Walden University will read as the nominated institution.

3. Under title, put "PONL Member." Do NOT put your actual work title in this box. This field determines your relationship with PONL.

4. Complete the remainder of the form with your demographical information (email, phone number and address) and submit your nomination.

The submission deadline is Friday, June 1.
