About SWPONLSWPONL is a strong, independent, and active professional organization for current and future nurse leaders from a variety of areas of practice. For over 30 years, SWPONL has provided a forum for nurse leaders from hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, community nursing areas, rehabilitation facilities, academia, and consulting to share current and relevant information affecting practice. SWPONL engages nurse leaders in acting upon important pending legislation and other pertinent issues related to nursing practice and leadership, and provides multiple educational opportunities throughout the year. SWPONL's Board of Directors believe that we can best serve the members by remaining an independent organization for nurse leaders in the region, continuing to strengthen our services to our members, strengthen our voice as leaders, and support the mission and values of the American Organization of Nurse Leaders (AONL). | MissionTo support the professional development of nurse leaders through collaboration, advocacy, and education.
