RN to BSN
- 100% online coursework
- 33-39-credit program
- Six (6) start times throughout the year
- Students come into the program with 85 credits toward their BSN

- 60 credits are awarded for nursing diploma or A.D., and 25 credits are awarded for an RN license
- Up to six (6) additional credits for Statistics and/or Ethics coursework can be transferred
- Can be completed in as little as 12-15 months

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- 100% online coursework
- Six (6) start times throughout the year
- Concentrations include:

- Can be completed in two (2) years
Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Hybrid program

- Cohorts meet one weekend every other month in-person in Canonsburg, Pa.
- Students meet online for coursework in between in-person weekends
- 36-credit program
- Cohorts begin every fall and spring semester
- Can be completed in three (3) to four (4) years

Nurse Faculty Loan Program (NFLP)
Waynesburg University is a 2021-22 participant in the Nurse Faculty Loan Program (NFLP). The NFLP allows students to qualify for up to 85% of loan forgiveness after graduating from an approved program, like Waynesburg’s DNP program.
The basics to qualify include:
- Enroll in the DNP program;
- Apply for NFLP funding (funding is available on a first come, first served basis);
- Take a full-time teaching position in a school of nursing within 12 months after graduation and stay in that position for four (4) years.
The NFLP is NOT based on financial need, and Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is NOT required.
