REACH Your Team©: Reconnect to Your Purpose Through Strategic Conversations That Changes Outcomes

Session Description: Nurse leaders are amidst conflict every day, and often shy away from addressing performance issues or questions “in the moment” for fear of upsetting staff or creating further delays in care. The reality is that there is a way to approach these conversations from a relational, appreciative perspective which also empowers and engages staff to take ownership of what is happening “in the moment.” The REACH Your Team© approach enables nurse leaders to foster empowerment and support for their team through a definitive conversational framework that builds engagement and trust between staff, leaders, and colleagues. In this talk, participants will learn up to 3 new strategies to cultivate the engagement and ownership they hope for through the dialogue they are already having.

* 2.0 contact hours pending - PONL is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by Pennsylvania State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. This activity will be submitted to award Nursing Continuing Professional Development hours.
